I am a Ph.D. student in Demography at UC Berkeley, with a prior background in Applied Sociology and Data Analytics. My research agenda lies at the intersection of contemporary demographic issues and spatial analysis of sociodemographic phenomena, motivated by several years of work experience with spatial methods, social theory, and demographic estimation. My substantive interests include time use, spatial structure and relationships, inequality, and mortality.

Now a year since my return from Europe, I am feeling nostalgic, yet lucky to have worked alongside such amazing talent for those 6 months! This experience will remain a bright spot in my memory. Lots of thanks to my co-authors and mentors, Emilio Zagheni and Magali Barbieri, for offering these incredible opportunities at MPIDR and INED.
